Farmall A Need the PTO drive gear and moon key

I have a 52 Farmall A and I"m installing the PTO pulley and gear needed to install a belly mower. However I don"t have the drive gear and moon key off the PTO that is needed to mate up to the drum or pully shaft. Can anyone advise where I might find one? I"m real close to getting this little tractor operational. Help!

Don't know about the gear but NAPA or a good hardware store should have Woodruf keys. Measure the width and add about 1/8" to 1/4" to the length of the slot for length. Someone on here will steer you to the gear.

Anybody parting out an A or B is likely to have the gear. You really should go back to wherever the other parts came from and also get the shims to set the mesh.

You say you have a 52A that would be a SA is it the same gear and shaft as the old As if so i have what ever you need.

Hey Gene,

Yes I thought it should be the same as a SA. Mine is an A with no hydraulics and the seat was missing so no name plate to go by. My Engine S/N makes it out to be a 51 or 52. Do you have the gear and moon key? If so can you email me via [email protected]. I believe I tried to call you 2 weeks ago and haven't gottn back to you. Let me know.
