656 wide front

Looking for a wide front for my row crop 656. What is a fair
price? Also there are after market and factory ones, will factory
ones be more expensive? Which tractors will have the same
wide front? I"m thinking of going to the local tractor salvage
yard.

A brand new Schwartz can be had for around $1,400 or so. I would not want to pay more than 1/2 that amount for a used wide front, and then only if it needs NO repairs.

I like the heavy duty Schwartz better than the IHC
front ends. I like the course splines better than
the IHC.
