606 Hydraulic line setup-

So I have a new to me tractor..
When going to mate my International 2000 loader to the tractor, the loader has 2 sets of lines, and the tractor has 2 sets also. The tractor has one set in front of the clutch and the other in the rear seat/3pt area.

With all lines connected, the loader will not function properly. It tries to work all cyl at once..
Even after tried in multiple configurations..

So after looking closer at the tractor, I have noticed the plumbing below the remote valves seems a bit odd.
1 of the 2 valves has 2 lines/sets plumbed to its bottom, and the other has only 2 caps. The remote that has the lines plumed to it is the one that gives the loader movement, and the one with the caps does nothing.

So.. at first a guy would think that he could just move a set of lines to the capped remote, but I would like to know why it was set up this way in the first place. And also the lines appear to be this way from the factory..

Please give me your thoughts, and thanks for looking!

PICS TO COME!

Reggie,
Your inboard valve has lines that go up to the front and the rear also. Sounds like your outboard valve has no manifold lines going out of it. You have both sets of loader hoses plumbed into the same valve. Your 606 was equipped to run one front set of hoses or one rear set of hoses depending on the mounted equipment attached. You need another pair of manifolds. Email me as I"ve got extra hydraulic parts from (2) 606 restorations that are for sale if you need parts.

The stock outlet location for the valves is up under the gas tank, one on each side.

It is also common for one valve to have two sets of outlets, one to the front, one to the back.

You can see the plumbing diagram for it at partstore.caseih.com.

What probably happened is that the lines for the one valve rusted out or got damaged, and the previous owner just took them off.

I don't think you can just move a set of lines. From what I could tell they are "hard" lines.

Common "O-ring" style fittings will screw right into the valve body, so you can just get the proper elbows, two hoses, and a set of couplers for the second valve.

My 756 had just light screw out plugs out the back of the tractor on one side, but no actual hyd valve connected till I added it and added the second lever.
Do you have two control levers. I'm not fimilar with the layout of the 606 so I can't picture what you have.

My 606 is the same as yours inboard remote valve has both mid and rear ports connected to it, out board valve is plugged.
mine also has the 2000 loader but it it has the power beyond and the loader has it own set of valves.

I appologize for not being back to my post as often as id like too..

Ive tried to post pictures of my tractor and setup, but am having a hard time getting the pics here. The web page claims they load, but nothing shows up..

here is a pic

My 606 has outlets above clutch and brake pedal as well as in the rear. The rear outlet and ones above the clutch pedal are controlled by the inside handle (center of tractor) and run the loader up and down. Brake side outlets are controlled by outside handle and operate the bucket.
