can anybody tell me where to get a new input seal for my f-20 behlen overdrive model 20-100. thanks.

On my Hysler units I git new seals from my local bearing supply place. The old ones are thick and the new ones quite thin so I put in two with a little gun grease between them to lube the outer one.

My local shop has found every seal for these old girls I've taken in there and can cross the original numbers from the 30's

mine is a behlen overdrive.I believe they are designed completely different than hiesler.

Remove the old one and take it to an Auto Parts store and they can get new ones wouldnt hurt to mike the measurements to get the correct one easy to do dont make any difference what the seal fits its a seal.

I've taken my behlen overdrive seal to parts stores, transmission shops and bearing stores but they say it is unique and witout a visible number they can't cross reference it.Has anybody actually replaced one like mine and what is the part number?

That i can believe as finding a good parts man is hard to do. I would think an I-H place would have someone who is retired ect that could help as many of those things were sold. Here in my area of east central IA we can always find some good info somewhere. I will make a call to an old friend who just mite come up with something let ya know tomorrow.

Never did get A staight answer on A seal for my behlen f-20 overdrive. Surely there are some knowledgeble f-20 Guys out there?

remove countersunk seal drive in athin bushing to match a seal that fits the shaft

try here, your can use a seal # or you can use the shaft and bore size
