Grandma's Farmall

In my grandmothers barn we pulled out an old 'rust' colored Farmall tractor. It has a plow blade on it and appears to have run in the past two decades as there is a recently new ignition switch installed.

My grandmother thinks one of her workers may have had it running a while ago but in the past 10 years she's gone down hill and has not been outside much.

I can not find a model number or badge on it anywhere. Right about this point I wish I had snapped a photo of it.

Is there somewhere on the tractor I can look to try and find a model number or serial number?

A lot depends on which model it is as to where you find numbers and or a tag. Best way to figure it out is picture posted here or 2nd best is go to tractor photos on the left of this page and then Farmall and see if you can find one that looks like it. Just to give you an idea of what I am saying. On the H and the M there is a tag on the left side if I remember right but on a A or B it is on the seat frame. and that is 4 models out of a good many models made

Scroll down through this list and click on models, most have a picture....James
