Farmall C Axle Brackets

I have some ideas how to fix this, but I wanted to see if anyone has a better thought or knows of a source for repair.

It looks like you have bent the bolt, then broken the eye out. Have they been severely over-loaded, or shock-loaded? Getting them repaired, straightened, re-welded is one thing, but I"d sure re-evaluate what I had been doing, what else I may have damaged.

drive cross pin out and replace eye bolt. try McMaster Carr, Case IH, Fastenall and other similar sources for the eye bolt

The eye bolt broke Gene. It is hanging there by the grace of god.

I will try to find a replacement eye bolt as suggested above.

My fix was going to be to weld a sleeve on the end of the bolt to replace the eye.

I am a tight wad, I would weld it and turn it 180 and put it back on(add a flat and a lock washer behind the nut)
