IH 383 tractor

Hi
Looking at buying a International 383 4wd tractor but was taken aback by it having a factory Nissan motor. Were these any good? Also what was the rest of the tractor like? Was it built well or on the cheap side? I"m hoping to use it in front of a IH B47 baler do you think it will have enough grunt?

I don't think I'd touch it with a 10 foot pole...

Weren't a very common tractor, made in Japan. I can't see any reason it would be junk, but good luck buying any parts for it.

They were supposed to be a replacement for the 384 & 385 (483 for 484) according to an Updike book.

I'd be looking for a newer 385 fwa or 485 fwa if you want red and 4x4.
