Posted earlier about super m grinding. Just wondering if a w4 will run a new holland 477 haybine if i can't get the m problem resolved before hay season. Thanks again.

30 to 35 HP required a W4 will be OK only in light hay, the W4 makes around 22 HP on a good day. If it has a a big bore sleeve kit and popup pistons as well as some tweaking on ignition and intake, it might be OK. Jim

Remember,A W4 is basicly an H in different
clothes.If an H will do it,a W4 will do it.A W4 is
a fuzz heavier,that may be a plus.Other than
that,Why not?????

Not sure how big a 477 haybine is, but I ran a 9' IHC 990 with my JD A, and it's all low compression original, 29 hp. If the haybine is 7' it'll probably be OK.
