1086 Diff lock

Did all 1086 tractors have the diff lock
my tractor dosent have the pedal for it
woundering if the pedal is gone or was the tractor made without it

The 86 series difflock, which was actually designed to run wet, was effective enough to be worth having.
 
Couple reason they were not very reliable. The 66 series used a little dry disc clutch outside of right brake, 86 series used a better wet clutch. Both used a hollow right side bull pinion shaft with a long shaft extending through center of diff to left brake shaft. Dry ones usually leaked. Both weakened bull pinion shaft. Switch on floor board had to be held down to engage. Neither held very well under full power, when they worked.
