need pics of 44 h kerozene

I have a 44 H that was set up for kerosene or distillate it is now running on gas anyone have pics of one restored or when new of the kerosene set up thanks

If it is set up for kerosene you should have shutters and a heat shield that fits around the manifold,if either are missing you aren't set up.

you can do without the heat shield & shutters as long as ya only run kero in the summer , the temp. that IH wants you to run that engine at is like 210 , alot of the kero / dist. burners have cracked heads because of that ,mine did luckly it was still usable , i have a 40 H that i run on kero at the shows in the summer no shutters or heat sheild but has kero manifold & pistons, i will say you better be sure, if you never had that engine apart, it dont have M&W or crater fire pistons in there if it does wont burn kero anymore

I made a mistake with the posting it was built to run on kerosene but now runs on gas no shutters or shield. I was just wondering what it would look like when it was built.
