I have a 51 or 52 Super A with a C-123 engine (replacement for C-113). The tractor does not get heavy use, and may sit for significant time between startups. I have read that it may be better to use "hotter" spark plugs than the factory recommended spark plugs.

What spark plugs (brand and number) should I consider putting in this tractor?

Thanks in advance...

Autolite 386, or the hotter 388, OR if you still have the magneto ignition, use the non-resistor Autolite 3116.

i believe that champion plugs do not rust as quick as some of the others.

i would use a hotter spark plug than what is recommended

I think my Super C has Champion D21 in it, don't have any problem with them, haven't had them out in 6 or 8 years.
