I have friends that pull one at 4500 but 4000 might be possible with a lot of aluminum. around here if your pullin stock you can't pull under 5000

What is the point of having all that power at such a light weight?

I've been to a few pulls in the last couple of years, one a weight transfer pull, and the others a stone boat.

The tractors that did well in the lighter classes were the ones that were "naturally" that light. All the ones that had been stripped down and cut up and had a whole bunch of stuff replaced with aluminum just sat on top and spun their wheels.

It wasn't until they started getting up into where the tractors would weigh for farming, that they started doing well.

Matt is totally correct EXCEPT if you are allowed to pull in a higher gear.

It is not as hard to get there as you might think. I pull 4200 with my M and it will make it to 4000 with I lite driver and I still have room to shed more weight.
