You all helped w/ the 1941 Farmall H- WFE that I did-- thank you. After a vacation break, tackled this beast. Its a 1956 Diamond T Series 536 pickup truck. Originally ordered for a fire department in WA w/ simple tank, pump and hose reel. Engine is an International 450 ci Red Diamond I-6. Basic cab was also International. Has 23k miles. Was special ordered and is likely the only one of its kind-- the butterfly hood is particularly unusual. Original bed sides, new tailgate from original steel.

Diamond T has to be the most beautiful most ornate and decorated truck ever. I wonder why they designed them with such flare in those days?? If I were rich Id buy every one I could find lol PS a B Model Mack or White Super Power or Dodge Brothers Pickup aren't any slouches either

IH sold that cab (Comfovision Cab) to other MFGers.Hendricson trucks(and others) used that cab.(From Red Power Mag)There is a Hendricson truck locally with that cab.

I wish I had the $$ to put this one back on the road. I blew #2 cylinder sleeve out of it and have yet to find parts for less then $500 per hole so over $3000 just to rebuild it and that is just sleeves ad pistons and rings no other parts

Ah but Diamond-T did not own Reo till in the late 50 or early 60s. Then Diamond-T produced both the Diamond-T and the Diamond-Reo. Before Diamond -T bought Reo out Reo was a stand alone company. I us to raise Cain with people when they called my 1963 Diamond-T 990 road tractor a Diamond-Reo
