What letter series tractors share the same steering box as my 1947 A ?

if the a is similar to 130, 100, etc., quite likely all that you will need is a bearing.

get someone to help you as this is a large project. have plenty of lifting power, hoists etc. probably 2 days for 2 people.

I never looked closely for minute differences, but I think the A would probably be the same as a Super A, also the 100/130/140 may be the same or very close.

Definitely NOT one from a B or C, they are very different.

If you have the later version round shaft and not the square shaft like on a lot of "A" tractors, go with the rebuild kit found on ebay for the Super A - 140 tractors. Can't go wrong and use every peice. You might have to get a machine shop to custom fit thiose bushings to you shaft becuase they come made so you can have that done.
