It was making that diesel work for it. It looked like it was making the front a little light!

If I has closed my eyes I would have thought you were cutting wheat. The way that engine was pulling and the steady pull on it made it sound like an old combine.

Yeah once I got into the old snow bank it was really working the old tractor

Snow blower is the way to go. That will really throw the snow. I have a 6 foot Smith blower mounted on the front of my "orange" tractor. It was made for 3PH but I revamped it to go on front. All hydraulic operated. Would hate to think I had to go back to a plow or bucket. I also have a heated cab. That keeps me warm and toasty.

So are you going to keep using the snow thrower or are you going back to the back blade with lots of piles and windrows? To me using the snow blower is the only way to go! Armand

Phil, can post or send me pictures, info on your front mount hydraulic set up? I have been doing the same as you are talking about on an old W450 with it on the front. I tried to pm you, but you have that off.
