You need a little more info. What are you replacing the gasket on?.

Okay------I guess old age is catching up on me. I didn't see where there was any mention of which tractor.

I just did a 300 row crop. Pull the PTO, remove the bull gear bolt. Raise the tractor up on the side you are replacing, then with access to a fork lift, bring the forks in under the tire and pick it up slightly, chain the top of the tire to the fork lift, remove the housing bolts and back out away from the tractor. Replace the gasket using a real good high tack adhesive and glue it to the tractor. Form-A-Gasket, silicone, etc. stays wet and allows the gasket to move. Use the fork lift to replace the axle assembly back onto the tractor. Use some long guide pins (bolts with no heads on them) to align the housing. Work the bull gear back on the axle and finish it all up. Took us less than 2 hours to do the entire job.
