Came across a 706 gas wide front with two point for sale it has flat top fenders seems to be in decent shape and runs good back rubber not the greatest shop was wondering what it"d be worth thanks

It is only worth what your willing to give for it . From when i started buying 706 gassers out of the dead rows for 6-900 bucks they have gone up just a bit Use to buy really nice gassers for 22-2700 .

$3500 would be a realistic price for it in my opinion. That doesn't mean the owner doesn't want a LOT more than that.

No offense but what people paid years ago really is no indication of the current market. If you can get one for the prices tractor vet quotes, don't turn your nose up at it, but the odds of finding deals like that in this day and age are slim.

I would agree with Matt. Around 2005 you could get a 706 gas for the same money as a really good M. It seems they have really increased in price since then.

I saw one at an auction last spring, it had nice rear tires and had been recently overhauled, bidding stopped at $4000, but didn"t meet its reserve.

i have a really nice 706 gas flat top fenders 3 point good ta , lights all work ,some gages dont wk ,this tractor is not perfect but a nice useable unit ,18. 4. 34 firestones i would not take 5500. for it . just saying however i know what i got ,
