W6 and W9 have the same seat assembly?

No if its the whole assembly. Pipe and bracket are different.

far as I know they are the same, I cant tell the difference. what is different in the pipe and bracket?

Checked after you asked. Looks like they will bolt on each other. Brackets have a serial number break and some are the same number. W-6 pipe is part # 53283D. W-9 58711D. Thinking a 9 pipe places the seat closer to the bracket but its been to long ago that I compared them to give a definite answer.
