Farmall A hydralics?

Did any or all of the 1947 "A"s come from factory with hydraulics? I know a little more about the green tractors than the red, but I do use a Super A to garden with.

No Farmall A's came from the factory with hydraulics. Factory hydraulics started with the Super A's.

I have, however, seen some nicely done aftermarket/homebrew hydraulics on a few A's.

As Red said NO A had hyds from the factory but the Super A's did

The first Super A tractors came off the line in December 1947

If you have a late one it just mite have the block where there was a plate below the mag where you could add a live pump from a SA,C,SC or 100 and then have a live system you would need to go from the pump to a system as the bell housing was not on the A to mount the factory rockshaft system.

most A's came with a Pneumatic Lift that worked off from the exhaust manifold and they worked quite well
