J4 and H4 magneto parts interchange?

I have a J4 magneto with a broken drive cup. I also have a H4 gas parts magneto. Will the cups interchange?

The H4 drive lugs are square and the J4 lugs are round. Will this cause a problem.

Those magnetoes have vastly different lag angles. Even if the parts fit, the operation would probably be way off.

Compare the position of the lugs just when the dog catches the pin. I think it is different.
