Glow plug gauge

I called to order a glow plug gauge from IH. They said it does not fit all 560(or 460) diesels. It has three terminals on the back, and he said if mine has 2 terminals than it will not work. Has anyone ever heard of this? He could not give me a year build date difference. I will check mine but was wondering what the difference was.

I do not know all the differences but I got my 2 wire for a 560 from Steiners

Kevin: did the one from Steiners work ok for you?
Thanks for your reply, it is strange there are differences in same gauge( 2 or 3 terminals) for the tractor.

There is no difference between first and last tractor made as far as glow plug meter. Two terminals only. I see they have changed the part number but still only list one in parts book. If it had a third terminal, the only thing I could think of would be for a light in meter.
