Super A Ih-1000 loader issues

Ok I have posted before about lifting issues and I finaly have time to repost some things. I have a IH-1000 loader on a Farmall 100 that works perfect so I am compairing it to my Dads Super A with the IH-1000 loader which has issues. My dads loader just doesn't have the lift capacity that mine does. It will only lift a half load of dirt about 3' from the ground. Mine can lift a full bucket that is 1' wider as high as I want no issues. I put a guage on the touch control and when you go to lift it shows 1000-1200 psi on the gauge but it just wont lift well. where should I start looking for problems? When I first had installed it the pump would get super hot with help from here we found that the TC had a plugged orfice restricting flow when you pulled the cover behind the battery, that fixed the over heating pump problem. Now is my pump week? More problems in TC? Or could my HYD spool controls not be letting fluid to the lift cylinders? Would like to get this fixed by spring.
Thanks

Do you have the auxiliary reservoir in the loader frame filled and connected to the touch control? The touch control will run out of oil at about 3' off the ground due to the one-way cylinder if it can't get oil from the auxiliary reservoir in the loader.

There may also be a procedure for bleeding the line from the auxiliary reservoir to the touch control, because it has to "suck" the oil from the auxiliary reservoir. If you put the connecting line on dry, it may not be able to pull in oil from the auxiliary reservoir.

Could the lift cylinders seals be worn internally and leaking?
Does the bucket stay up? If the seals are bad the bucket will
settle back to the ground (unless the hydraulic system has a
check valve in it) So if it does settle back down its a pretty
good indicator for you of bad lift seals.

The 1000 loader has a 1-way cylinder on the lift arm.

If it is settling, it will make a nasty oily mess EVERYWHERE. It would be pretty obvious.

Ok the cylinders are the same cylinder and yes it holds postion fine and doesn't settle. I did fill the line from the TC to the loader resevour and it seems to be cycling becasue the line will get warm to the touch I am assuming becasue the hyd fluid is running through it. I do suppose it isn't pulling it through and the TC is using its hyd fluid and lifts untill it is empty and then stops raising the bucket? Could I shut the tractor off open the TC resevour and more Hydraulic oil and if it lifts then it would not be getting oil from the sump to the TC? Maybe I am looking at this wrong I am thinking of the low suction line from the top of the sump tank on loader to the TC. Is it possible I have a restriction on the hard pipe from the spool to the buttom of the sump and it is not putting hyd oil back to the TC?

It also seems like it doesn't have enough power to lift more then 1/2 bucket of dirt again is that becasue I am running the TC low on oil and not pulling from the sump?

Chad, are you filling the system at the fill port on the auxiliary reservoir on the loader frame until it runs out? Do this with the cylinder retracted.

yes I am filling it until it runs out of the top pipe plug where I fill it. I have also filled it with both cylinders retracted. Like I said I have one of these loaders on my 100 and it runs circles around this one. I installed both of them I just don't know what I am missing. My dads was in peices and sandblasted and painted maybe we missed something plugging the sump since the hard pipe from the spool to the bottom of the tank was off for cleaning maybe I missed something stuffed in the hole? Its frustrating becasue it kind of works and kind of doesn't know what I mean? its a good thing I have one on my other tractor otherwise I would have said there junk but they are really great!
is the 1100 to 1200 psi correct? I get that when I pull the handle to lift the bucket let go of the handle and it drops back down to 200 to 400 psi I think is the correct reading its been a while since I looked at it.

Are you losing fluid and need to keep adding hy fluid if so your front seal in the pump is leaking into the crankcase

Gene
I had that problem after the pump got hot. I have replaced the seal at the pump and I am no longer pumping hydraulic oil into the engine that has been fixed and I keep checking it.
