Hydraulic cylinder rebuild

I have a single action cylinder from my 120 mower that sprays oil out the breather. CNH has the part numbers for the o-rings and such as not serviceable. I attached a picture of the suspect cylinder, don't think it's the same style as the other post of a lift-all cylinder so I figured I would post. Also, am I correct in assuming that the way to get it apart is to just unscrew the cap at the end of the cylinder that goes around the shaft?

Ha! Just had to do it in Classic view.

Bkpigs To take your cylinder apart, chuck it in a vice, then turn the cap end while looking through the rectangular hole in the side until you see the ends of a square ring. One end will be bent down into the cap,the other end will be loose. Bend the loose end up then turn the cap to roll the ring out. Then you can twist the cap out of the barrel then the rod and piston. The rest is just finding the o-rings and seals and reassembling.

Rebuilt one maybe 15 years ago, got kit from dealer. Did another one several years later and got kit from Tractor Supply, got one according to diameter of cylinder. Not much in there anyway.

If all else fails take it to one of those hydraulic places that service construction equipment. They seam to have most all the O rings and seals right there in stock.
