606 Diesel- fuel in oil after sitting??

Hey Everyone. Thanks in advance for your ears and
advice :)

I received a 65 international 606 Diesel in an
"unknown non-running" condition. I got it home
and worked several hours to try to start it, but
the injection pump was gummed and had to be sent
off to be rebuilt.
After receiving it back and installing it and
priming fuel system.. She runs great!

My issue- After tractor sits from being ran, it
seems that the oil is contaminated with fuel..

The kicker- Oil is not contaminated immediately
after running.
- only happens after tractor has been sitting for
a a few days.

thoughts & ideas?

Thanks,
Reggie

the seals on the pump shaft have folded over when you installed the pump and that is your diesel in the oil. have to be very careful with those two seals when installing pump.

That it was rustred!
I had a mechanic that had "guaranteed" his work stating that he knew the seals were installed correctly..

Had a different mechanic go into it to find the folded seals.. ;)
