1086 lift repair

when I got the lift apart found it has scoring inside of the cylinder that won't clean up with a hone,piston only has minor scratches,o-ring didn't have any cuts even with scoring inside the cylinder,can it be bored and sleeved or is there and oversize piston available

Well, Hy Capacity bores them out and sleeves them but I don't have any idea where they get their sleeves. They list for $625 exchange.

I have a machinset here that can do them , he uses a thin wall repair sleeve that is used in and engine block. Works well . If ya got all the neat books for engine parts they have a progressive size chart for everything sleeves pistons valves you name it and you can use what ever ya can make fit in anything .

Ya don't have to go to that extreme you use a thin wall cylinder sleeve wright out of Ohio sleeve and piston .
