How To Remove The Axle In The Final Drive On A Cub

I have to put new seals in the final drive axles. I cannot get the axle out of the bull gear. What is the secret? I thought that I did everything the IT manual said. This is on a Farmall cub 1947.

Or a press if you have one.Getting it to move at first takes some good force on some but not all. Don't loose the small shims between the inside bearing and the spacer, easy to miss in the grease and oil. They have to be put back in to properly pre-load the tapered bearings.
