Wheat harvest 1945 with 1944 IH Pull-type Combine

I moved my dad into an assisted living facility this past year and when cleaning out his house ran across a bunch of harvest pictures from 1945. If I could have asked my dad 2 years ago he may have been able to tell me but today all he can tell me is that is was an IH combine with a 6 foot head. I'm trying to document all the combines my family had from the first Nichols & Shepard Threshing machine to current date. I had mistakenly posted this in the Oliver section. I got the Oliver 2 row corn picker and the IH combine turned around when typing things up.

If I remember right, that would be a McCormick Number 62 combine. One of the people who combined for us in the late '40s had one of those.

I hope my memory has worked.

The tractor looks like an 'A'
