OT: interesting lamp

I can't answer that question. I've never seen one before either. I just came across the ad and thought it was interesting.

I've never seen an actual lamp, but I have seen them advertised on ebay and such. I feel as though that lamp is a figment of someones imagination, produced solely with the intent of catching the attention of an IH collector.

Why would an IH dealership even HAVE a lamp like that? Where would it have been used? And why would only a few have survived?

Apparently the shades were made of plastic, because the sides might melt?

Looks like a tippy bugger.

I lived thru the 1950s and 1960s and never saw such a critter. Besides, IH had quit using that old IHC logo by that time.

You can tell by how the ad is written that lets you know "something is rotten in Denmark".
