Farmall h thermostat gaskets

I am having trouble finding the gaskets I need for the thermostat housing. I have the one that goes to where the two half's meet, but am leaking badly from the one that goes to the head to the housing. I can't seem to find that one

45102DA is the gasket p.n. for where the two housing pieces come apart to access the thermostat on a Farmall H.

45103DA is the gasket p.n. for where the thermostat housing bolts to the cylinder head on a Farmall H.

Both should still be available from any CIH dealer.

As been said, those gaskets should be available through Case IH. If you don't have a dealer nearby, several of the restoration vendors can provide them.

That said, I was talking to Dwayne at Rustic Red Acres a couple weeks ago, and he stated that many of the older tractor parts are being obsoleted by the company, and there are already a few gaskets that arte no longer obtainable from CIH. In such cases, it would be a good idea to invest in an Exacto knife and hole punch set to make your own.

As others have advised make your own. It's cheaper and faster
than ordering from a dealer. I buy rolls of various gasket materials
and have had no issues.

You are awesome. How'd you find that? I have all the manuals and everything from binder, I couldn't seem to locate it

And thanks for the other suggestions too I am going to get a roll of gasket maker and some good rtv too

For years I have made gaskets out of cereal boxes, or beer cases, for use to hold water or coolant. Coat cardboard with grease from one of your grease tubes and it should seal.

If you will look around you can find a couple types of gasket material and thickness will save you lots of order and running around for gaskets in the long run. Loctite Blue and Black are the two sealers you will need.
