Super C Touch Control block rebuild.... help!

I noticed when the fuel tank was off the tractor for cleaning and painting the welsh plug on the top of the TC unit was just laying there loose. Checked for water, sure enough it got rain in it. It leaks pretty good anyway, and I"m repainting the tractor, so it"s time to reseal it.

It"s most of the way apart on the bench, but I can"t get the what I"ll call bushings out on the head side. There are 4 of them, they are inserts in a bore that other parts go into, I can feel with an allen wrench there are springs and balls below them. How do these come out???

I"m going to take it Monday to the machine shop so they can hot tank it to get it clean, and that will destroy what"s in there.

Any help on this or tips on putting it back together would be great.

Does someone aftermarket the rebuild kit or just get it at CIH?

Thanks much in advance!

I rebuilt mine last February. If you go to the archives and put in Super C touch control, it should pull up the posts. I took the 4 valves out with a pair of snap ring pliers. A pair of needle nose pliers would also work by holding them open instead of closed. Also listed in one of the posts is the part number for the seal kit. You will need a parts diagram. I got a lot of help off this forum when doing mine.
