stamped rims

I got a 560 with stamped rims with 18.4 34 tires the hubs are like dual hubs was this an option or did someone just put these on? 62 model

these were factory 560 had the option of 9 bolt 18.4-34 it is in the parts book.

My question has always been: Why?

Sure, 18.4x34 tires put more meat on the ground, but why go with the lighter stamped rims and weaker 9-bolt hubs? Why not use a cast wheel center and double-bevel rims?

Personally, I don't like the way they look. Farmalls should have cast rear wheel centers, period. Stamped steel makes them look like a Ford. There's nothing wrong with how Fords look, but Fords should look like Fords, and Farmalls should look like Farmalls!

I have a 38" spinout wheel assembly for a 560 if you can find a mate.
