I overfilled my transmission on my A by one quart, plus I added 1 quart to the belt pulley. It has both a pto and belt pulley. Would it be wise to drain some out via the oil level plug on the left side of the transmission? Or will it be fine overfilled by a couple quarts at most? Thanks guys!

If it is not leaking out it is OK. If it is terribly cold let i go till --June--- if it isn"t leaking. Jim

Quart or so probably won't be noticeable. Neighbors BN leaked because it was over-full, but by about 2 gallons, not a quart.

I'm with Ken , if more that a little overfilled it will promote leakage past the brake seals , especially if they are old and hard .I've stopped leaking brake seals a couple times just by draining the water from the rear end, thus lowering the oil level below the seal lips.
