Wiring for farmall A

Hey guys,

What gauge wire is used for the kill switch to ground out the magneto on my A. Or which gauge do you recommend? Thanks as always!

I think about any gauge wire will ground the mag.

On that a 16 or 14 or 12 will all work just fine. I would almost bet from the factory it would have been close to the 16 gauge wire

14GA is nice to work with and carries 15A way more than enough to work for a ground.

A battery powered coil ignition only draws like 4 amps and a Mag (subject to mags specs and RPM) is probably even less, so 20 or less gauge would likely work fine, although Id still want a big enough stranded wire just for its strength and flexibility. Stick a 16 gauge on if you like it will for darn sure have plentyyyyyyyy of ampacity but also be fairly strong.
