'41 H voltage Regulator conversion

I"m converting a "41 H with a cutout relay on the generator to a voltage regulator. Does it take something in addition to just putting a voltage regulator on the H? I know what the wiring changes are, but am not sure if it takes a special regulator to do the conversion.

Just get the reg made for your gen. Look at the Delco Remy# on the gen so you get the correct one. Go to Car Quest as theirs are USA made do not get one at a farm supply,discount place ect There will be wiring instructions on how to hook up. as you dont use the Field wire going to the lite sw.
