1946 Farmall B Tractor

You asking the size of the battery or the amp draw of the starter??? If your asking about the battery you want the largest CCA battery you can find that will fit in the battery box

2 or 3 hundred should spin it OK. Voltage should hold above 4 & 1/2. Do you have a problem? They use a group 1, 6 volt battery.

The 6v batt that fits your batt box will have enough for starting IF your cables and starter is in shape. I forget the crank amps but something like 625 or so. There is only one manufacturer of 6v batts now in USA

All I have ever used in our Farmall B is a COM-1-HP 625 CCA. With good starter and cables it starts fine.
