706 D282 Cracked Head.....

Blowing snow today, and thought I could smell antifreeze. I got off to have a look and found it weeping out of a crack where the rear bolt right behind the exhaust manifold goes. Looked at my spare head and found it had the same thing. I am not very happy as I just spent a bunch of money on valve seats, planing, gasket and all new exhaust valves around 50 hrs ago, not to mention all the work of the R&R.
It only leaks when running it hard, so my question is if I get some sort of a good sealer, will this stop it? Also will the crack continue to get worse to the point where the antifreeze will get into the oil? I am not that concerned with it if it isn"t going to get worse.
I"m quite sure this was a problem with these heads, and I am hoping someone has some experience to share.
Thanks

You can try and flush the block and cooling system and get all the antifreeze cleaned out then get her good and warmed up with plain old water and dump a can of K & R block and head sealer in it and run it hot for i think about and hour maybe less then shut it off and drain the WHOLE system . Do not allow that stuff to get on the paint anyplace . Then ya let her set for 24 hours with all the drains open including the block drain . This may solve your problem .

Thanks for your reply. I will try this.....if I can find some. I had some ceramic motor sealer around but can't seem to find it. I can't really see where it can get any worst than it already is, so it may just have to leak until this damned snow stops.
