Orientation of hydraulic screen on Farmall 350

I removed the hydraulic intake screen on my 350 and since I believed it to be symmetrical I didn't pay much attention to how it was installed. After looking into the hole on the end, though, I see that there is an internal deflector that directs the oil to one side as it exits the screen and enters the suction tube. Can anybody help me out on how this deflector should be oriented? The manual makes no reference to the proper orientation so maybe it doesn't matter but I'd like to know for sure before installing it. Thanks.

To the best of my recollection it is open to the left side of the tractor. (clutch side) But is is irrelevant in my opinion. Jim

If I remember correctly when I changed my oil and cleaned the screen on my Farmall 350 last summer. The bolts will only fit in one way, you have to rotate untill all bolt holes line up.

I got to wondering if that might be the case as it would make sense. It must be a very subtle difference in the pattern, though, because it isn't obvious when just looking at the screen or the reservoir individually.
