Farmall A Oil Gauge Question

Hello again. I am looking to replace the aftermarket generic gauges on my A with reproduction gauges. I see the oil ones come in two different ranges, 0-15 psi and 0 - 75 psi. Which one is the correct one for a 45 farmall a? We use this tractor as well as show it.

Thank you.

The higher range is correct for the letter series. I would suggest that you contact Joe's Farmall parts. He is Gordon Rice's son, and sell parts for the letter series. He is out of Clarion, Pa. I believe that this site sells gauges as well.

The F series used the lower pressure gauges, except for the F12/F14 which used the higher pressure gauge.

The reason was, that the Regular, F-20, and F-30 engines were mainly splash lubed. The F12/F14 were pressure lubricated, as well as all the letter series.

Original does not have numbers on the guage zones in color red on left and rest is white says oil on the guage.

Gene is right no numbers just words on them. Shoot I may still have a good one laying around that came off an A or B. That said nnalert has them listed and are the correct reproduction

Thank you all for the input. The ones I had found were the original style, no numbers, but had different ranges listed in the specs. Just wanted to make sure I got the right one. Thank you!
