i'v not looked a tthe bolt pattern on my cub and C.. but wonder if the front bolster area is in any way compatible. or any small letter series.

IE.. can you 'trike' a cub?

With enough time, money, and a certain amount of ingenuity almost anything is possible. However there is no bolt up narrow front for a Cub and the bolster from the other small letter series will not fit. Good luck, Sam

oh wel.. kinda figured.. but had to ask. :)

thanks.,

Hear ya on the money/time.. etc.

torch and welder and cubic money.. etc...

The things I could build with those kind of supplies. I've got the imagination, just a little short on the rest. Sam

i got the fab tools and the geometry.. just not the time... easier to buy an existing trike to get my jollies out on i guess.. :)

go for it SG
This one sure looks great..
type this into google
'long bang forble tricycle cub done'
(if you haven't seen it already)

Cubs and As never had a narrow front as an option, the reason being the combination of the offset engine and a narrow front would make the tractor very tippy in a hard right turn.

If you look at a B from the front or rear, you'll see that the engine is actually centered between the rear wheels.

I believe George Willer's tricycle Cub has an axle extension added to the left side to make it stable with a narrow front.

Your main challenge in adding a narrow front to a Cub is supporting it. Tractors like the B, C, H, M all were designed with narrow fronts standard. The steering shaft is designed to have the narrow front end bolted directly to it and supports the weight of the tractor. A Cub steering box was never designed to hold up the weight of the tractor so you need to mount the narrow front some other way.
