I have an MTA and purchased a add on Pulley to drive a power steering pump....I received the pulley with no instructions. It has a lip on the backside of the pulley that fits snugly over the existing pulley. The only way I can think of is welding it to the large pulley.....hope that is correct.

Hi Vince, and welcome to the forum. You don't want weld it. You'll hate yourself for doing it. That's a can of worms waiting to happen. The crankshaft should have a cross pin on the end of the shaft for engaging the hand cranking mechanizeum.

With a CCW twisting motion the supplemental pulley should lock up against that cross pin. Give it a few taps with a brass pin and hammer for good measure. Give that a try, and if still in doubt, I'll try to explain further.

The CW rotation of the motor prevents it from ever coming loose. On the contrary, it just tightens it up more.

HTH and best regards
