Putting a new clutch in.my 560 and the one in it was a cross shaped clutch disk should I put the same style in or put a full disc in? Has anyone had any difficulties with a full disk? The parts guy said if I went with a full disk its harder to push the clutch pedal in not sure which way to go. I use the tractor for hauling manure and pulling chopper boxes. Any help.is greatly appreciated.

sounds like it has the button clutch in it, this one is harder and produces more wear on the pressure plate.
the normal disc clutch will work just fine. will last forever also if kept adjusted properly and not slipped.

THe Ceramic puck disk will take material off of both the flywheel and pressure plate as it is much harder than either. An organic (does not mean the edible sense of organic) compound semi-metallic disk (usually with copper strands in it) will last very well and be far less prone to expensive flywheel wear. In addition the organic disk will be softer on clutch engagement, chattering less and being less jerky when at the friction point letting it out.
sense it had the ceramic disk, make sure the Flywheel is true, and the step depth is correct between the PP mounting surface, and the friction surface. Jim

The force required to push the clutch pedal is a result of the pressure plate assembly, not the clutch disk. The same ppa can be used with either type disk.
