M fourth gear

Hi guys, I have a 48 M that needs a baring replaced in the transmisson, while im in that far i would like to put a super M 4th gear in it do any of you know what all needs to be changed to do this?

Can't just add a SM gear due to everything except first is a different gear ratio between the M and SM and 3 double gears in the transmissions. Also the SM counter shaft has a bigger diameter where the gears press on.
You can install all the SM transmission gears along with the counter shaft in the M housing though.
