450 ring and pinion in a m

Will a 450 rp fit in a m and if it does will it speed it up trying to speed it up with out getting into custom gears

Won't fit and won't speed up.
Use a W-6 or SW6 R&P and get the 6 main shaft rear bearing retainer with the set. 19 and 47 teeth compared to the M 19 and 50 teeth. Or harder to find the input shaft and constant mesh gear from a I-6.

DO you know Speed wise how mutch faster and were wood be a good place to look for them and what are they worth thanks for the info

Don't know right off the speed difference without spending time figuring.
Probably find someone with a salvage tractor or the gears for sale to get them.

There is one on Pulloff.com advertised the 21st of Nov. They are parting a Wd6. Hope that helps..
