3 pt hitch on IH 460 utility?

Was the 3pt hitch a factory option for the IH 460 utility? I realize that was during the heart of the fast hitch years, but I remember seeing other IH utility models (240, 340, 504, 544, 606, etc) with factory 3pt hitches.

Thanks.

At least one I know of did have a 3 point. I worked in the Cessna Engineering Experimental Lab. starting in early '65 and we had an experimental one. IH was planning t use it in the next generation of tractors following the *60 series, but for reasons unknown to me, they did not make the change. I think they were holding on the Fast Hitch design because they had so much invested in tractor and implement design. I had the opportunity of running it in the field when Oliver wanted to try it out in '66 and it is hard to believe a 460 could pull a 4x16" plow, but with that hitch and draft control, it would. We compared it to an Oliver 1650 in the field, and the Oliver engineers could not believe it. they took it to Charles City and we got it back in pieces about 2 years later. Oliver was given permission to use whatever they wanted from the design.
I wish I knew whatever happened to that tractor because I helped re-assemble it and it was used for some other development later on.

The industrial version of the utility had 3 point as an option. Or, after reading IH fans post, it may have been added to the parts book after production had stopped. I don't think you will find one.

This was experimental and never made it to production. Castings and everything for the top cover, arms, etc. were all from Cessna, not IH, so it's a "one off" so to speak. I know the leade engineer on the project had it at his farm and it "accidently" got sold on his farm sale after he died. Couple of guys I worked with went out to fetch it back, but his wife had already had a sale and they couldn't get it back. It was just written off. If the buyer ever tried to get parts, he was SOL. Probable sitting in some farmer's tree row now.
