Opinion of B275

Well today was the first time I have ever worked on a British International B275 diesel This tractor was sitting outside for the last 8 to 10 years neglected with weeds growing around and over it, a friend rescued it and today with very little effort,i.e. getting it clean fuel and the lines bled. It fired right up and after a little while she cleared right up and ran great. I have to say that the steering box on it appears to be a weak link but other than that I was impressed with the tractors simple yet robust rugged design. To all the Brits on here I say WELL DONE.

Rex,

If you or your friend need any parts for it, I have a B-275 Diesel that I am parting out. It is still complete minus the radiator, so let me know if you need anything. I can ship or you can pick up locally. I'm about to list it on the photo ads, so refer to that for more info.

IH Great Britain had direct start diesel, hi/lo trans, 3pt hitch, diff lock and live PTO in the 1950's. IH in USA didn't seem to get there that soon....
