IH Industrial Tractor

I am looking for information on an IH Industrial tractor with the following identification numbers:
I2510D-B and 2340113U2045-82. The name "International" is on the hood, and there is an IH emblem on the front grill. It is yellow and black. It is a four cylinder diesel, also has a three point hitch with PTO. I need to know the model and year and any other information you may have. Thanks.

The I2510D-B tells me that it might be a "2500 series" industrial tractor.

Info is kinda sketchy on them because they're kinda rare and there's not a lot of interest in them.

The tractordata.com site lists a 2410B which was a variant of the 2400 which came with a heavy duty loader. Does yours have a loader? Does it look like it may have had a loader at one time?

Mechanically, I believe they are VERY similar to the utility tractors of the time, like a 464 or 574.

To properly ID your trctor. Pictures are needed and would help immensley.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions. The numbers shown were on the transmission case on the left hand side. The unit does have a heavy duty loader and an extra heavy duty cast iron front axle. I agree that this is probably a rare tractor. I have been an IH collector of many years, and I had never seen one of these before.

Joe, I agree with MKirsch that you may have a 2500 IH . You can go to CNH website. Go to parts, find parts by model. Enter 2500, choose 2500 A series N.America. Look at superstructure and other sections to see if this looks like your model.

If so the engine will be a C-153 GAS or D-188 DIESEL.To look at parts for engine, go back to find parts by model and enter either C-153 or D-188. This engine was also used in IH 504 Farm Tractor.

If your tractor is 2500 it was built from 1967-1970.

TractorData.com gives a lot of info.

Good luck, Bill

Ok, so it has a loader. That jives with the information I found on the IH 2410 on tractordata.com.

The "10" means it has a loader.

So, my best educated guess as to what you have is a 2500B series tractor. More specifically, a 2510B because it has the loader on it.

However, when you go for parts for the tractor itself, you are probably going to get the best results asking for parts for a 2500B.

From what I can find, the 2500B series has the D239 diesel engine in it. You should be able to confirm that somewhere on the engine block casting, though on these tractors, it can be tough to get a clear view of the engine block with all the frame and sheet metal and loader in the way.

It should be very similar mechanically to a 574 or 674 Utility tractor.

You've probably never heard of it because it's not a farm tractor. Normally these would be powering backhoes, running roadside mowers, or scooping material at a factory.

If it is a true industrial. With the loader backhoe, and the nomenclature for the industrial, as you say. It should have an I-beam looking front axle otherwise it is just a farm tractor model with yellow paint for an industrial use.
