Farmall 240 disk size

What size disk will a 240 pull? Is an 8 foot about right? Thanks.

Yes an 8ft disc should work.

6 ft tandem disc if you want any depth.

If it's a wheel or Fast Hitch disk, I'd think an 8' would work. A straight pull type could be a problem if you angle it so it's a deep cut. We had a 7' Fast Hitch for a Super C and didn't have a problem with it. A 240 has a few more ponies, so I'd think an 8' should work "under most conditions". You will need some rear weight to do it though, and if it's a Fast Hitch, you will want front weight also. If your 240 has a 3 point, the same would apply as the F-H.
