I would like to know the engine valve adjustment procedure for this tractor and I have a issue with the forward/reverse shifter when moved to reverse it does not move until you push and hold the shifter to the left any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated thanks Nick
 
I've owned 3 hydros.All of em you have to push ith lever to the left and down to go backwards...Safty feature.....
 
my problem is I move the shifter to the left and down to reverse it starts moving in reverse then stops till you hold slight pressure on the shifter to the left to get it to keep moving I have owned the tractor for three years and it just started doing this

Simple adjustment on the control valve spool will cure the reverse engagement issue.

Loosen the clamp and move the bracket on the spool to the right a little.
 
thanks Jim I will give that a try your referring to the piece the shifter goes into that connects to the spool valve and loose and slide it further onto the valve shaft ? thanks for the help this is my first time using the forum I appreciate the help Nick
