Moving some hay this afternoon engine in the old IH stopped, was sitting running at a idle went dead would not restart. Has diesel engine any ideas anyone?
was sundown when it shut down so I just pulled it to the shed let it set there. Think I will loosen fuel line at injector crank it see if I have fuel there. Is there a better way to check injector pump?
 
Before I would start breaking lines I would check the filters. There is also a plunger pump on the injector pump. Open the bleeders on the filter base and see if fuel comes out and if it does not try the plunger pump to see if it will push fuel thru. Also, is there fuel in the tank?
