560 sleeves and coolong port

I have to overhaul my 560 and I was just curious if they had wet or dry sleeves like the h and m. I"ve also talked to a few people and they say that there is a cooling port that was never drilled out at the factory on the back side of the head and that I need to drill it out when I get a new head gasket. Has anyone else heard this or encountered it?

Dry sleeves and the only port in block that we drilled out was on early D-282 engines if memory serves me correctly.

If I remember correctly there was a service bulletin back in the late 60's early 70's that talked about the holes in the head and block. Two extra holes were needed in the area of cylinder 5 & 6 and the head gasket was to be used as a template to mark the location. I'm thinking that the holes were to be drilled with a 5/16 drill. I have seen times that the holes were in the head but not in the block. I have also seen engines that had no holes in the block or the head, but the holes are in the gasket.
I hope this helps.

OK thanks for the info. Do you by chance know if the original head gasket had the hole in it where these holes should have been or is it just the new head gaskets that have that hole?
